The barge was constructed in Belgium in 1927.

The loft is an open-spaced apartment of 40m2, comprising a living and dining area, mezzanine double-bed space, a kitchen/bar, shower-room and W.C. The air is dry, and in winter, central heating ensures an ideal temperature. The numerous portholes permit easy observation of river-life.

It can accomodate up to 6 people : in 3 double-beds, in 2 double-beds and 2 single-beds, or in 1 double-bed and 4 single-beds.

Facilities : access to WIFI, a wide-screened television, a DVD player (a DVD library is at your disposal), a radio and CD player , an iron and ironing-board.

Outside, the sun-deck is equiped with hammocks and a barbecue. Its prolongation is a more private covered patio surrounded by caned fencing.

Should you prefer not to use the "Vélibs" (free-bicycles offered by the Paris "Mairie"), you may borrow 2 bicycles (a deposit is required).

Very soon a canoo will be available to explore the little branches of the Seine at Issy-les-Moulineaux.

But you can also discover the River Housing way of life, and meet frensh people, by participating to a dinner.
